My Story

While most children were off playing with their toys on Christmas morning, I was busy taking mine apart to see how they worked. This natural curiosity of all things mechanical has been a constant companion and has taught me that for nearly every problem there is a solution.

Over the course of my life I have worked as a cabinetmaker, surveyor, automotive mechanic, forklift operator and handyman. This variety of professions has given me a wealth of solutions for a vast array of problems. I often find a solution for a problem can come from an entirely different field.

In the early 1990’s I began doing light remodeling for friends and family. I was still working as an auto mechanic during the week, but I spent most nights and weekends on home related projects. It wasn’t too long before I realized I could keep busy working for myself and quit my 10 year automotive career.

In late 1996 I formally went into business as “The Homesellers Helper.” Perhaps there are a few that might remember the name, but it was not a large company, and most of my work was concentrated in the Islands development of Gilbert where I lived.

In 2009 I decided to head in a totally new direction and left the valley to work on the road doing commercial property inspections & maintenance.

In 2018 I returned to Phoenix as life on the road had lost its novelty and I grew tired of spending time away from my family and an aging parent.

So, here I am today, just getting back to the work I enjoy, love and am good at…
